Pastoral Care Information

Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of the Sick is the Church’s prayer for healing for those who are ill, anticipating a medical procedure, or for those who are in the final phases of their earthly life. However, it should never be associated only with those who are dying. This sacrament can be received multiple times if necessary. Notify the Parish Office at 317-846-3850 so that arrangements can be made for one of our priests to celebrate this sacrament with you.

Emergency Situations (critical accident, loved one dying or other deemed emergency)

If a loved one is in need of a priest for the Sacraments please call the parish office 317-846-3850. If it is after hours, you will be given directions on the voice mail how to contact a priest.

Hospital Visits

Due to the Patient Privacy Act, hospitals cannot contact a parish when its parishioners are hospitalized. Family members or hospitalized parishioner can notify the parish so that our Ministry of Care Staff/ ministers can reach out to your loved one during the time of their hospitalization. Please call the parish office 317-846-3850. Leave your loved one’s name, hospital and room number. A visit will be arranged during M-F.

Holy Communion for Homebound, Elderly and in Rehab Centers

Homebound parishioners remain closely united to Jesus through the regular reception of Holy Communion. Please call the parish office at 317-846-3850 if you would like to have Communion brought to your home.

Remember a loved one by having a mass offered for them. To schedule, please see the receptionist in the parish office.
