Holy Family Shelter

The Holy Family Shelter, a program of Catholic Charities Indianapolis, addresses the increasing demand for emergency shelter in Indianapolis and the central Indiana area by providing residential services designed to move homeless families to self-sufficiency. Holy Family Shelter has been in operation since 1984 having never closed its doors. Each night 55 to 85 individuals sleep safely within the walls of Holy Family Shelter.

The Holy Family Shelter is located at 907 N Holmes Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46222, phone, 317-635-7830. Email: info@holyfamilyshelter.net . It is located behind Sacred Heart Catholic Church on the south side of the city.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish serves and prepares a dinner on the second Saturday of each month, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for families to minister to our brethren and a time to read, play games, and visit. It is truly an enriching experience! To volunteer, please contact Jennifer Brennan, the SEAS Holy Family Shelter Coordinator, at jbrennan23@hotmail.com to receive an online signup invitation!
